Treasure completed her second leg in Pre-Trial Herding at Cumming, Georgia on Saturday. She and Susan made it look SOOOO easy! Beautiful work.
Then the next day, we moved Treasure up to the trial class of Herding Started, and she got her first leg toward her HSAs title! Whoo-hoo! AND picked up a third place with her score of 94!

Treasure's Herding Lesson
Ms. Treasure is getting so much great instruction! She's entered at a herding trial in two weeks and is coming along nicely, according to her instructor/handler Susan!
First she has to gather the sheepies! |
Get them all together and to Susan! |
The idea is to SMOOTHLY move the sheep. |
At the end, she got to move the mama and lambies out into the big field. |
And did so nicely! Good job, Treasure! |

Today's herding! Big mamas and lambs!
Well, Treasure got to work the big mamas today as the other field was under water. She wasn't sure at first what to do with NINE sheep! But Susan helped her figure out quickly she needed to stay out wider in order to control the flock. She's coming along wonderfully!
